The Feuerkogel, your friendly family ski region in the heart of the Salzkammergut, with its very well prepared and clearly arranged pistes, is especially suitable for families with children, beginners and those getting back into skiing and provides safe ski fun in the snow with its new snowmaking facilities.

The extensive area for beginners and the lovingly designed kinderland "Franzi's Drachenpark" make it easy for those who are new to skiing to conquer the ski and snowboards.

Winter enthusiasts who would like to see the Feuerkogel in a different light can do just that on a snow-shoe hike, skitouring or at funny adventures off-piste.

You can enjoy the silence of the Feuerkogel plateau on a tour through the winter landscape on signposted ski touring routes and snowshoe trails.

And ambitious winter athletes will find their own special challenge in the six kilometre unprepared ski route into the valley (only for experienced skiers)

The skiing and snowboarding schools is located in the mountain station. The team is pleased to help you and provide equipment hire and professional tips for skiing. The Feuerkogel team also put on an individual ski race with electronic time measurement, course setting and a victory ceremony.

The Feuerkogel cable car which runs to 1,600 metres altitude, right up into the middle of the adventure mountain village, provides very good accessibility from Ebensee am Traunsee.

For leisure-focussed winter athletes, beginners and families the little ski circus on the high plateau, which its new lifts, best prepared pistes and new snowmaking facilities, provides safe fun in the snow.
